CHANGES IN LEGISLATION REGARDING REGISTRATIONS FOR COSMETIC PRODUCTS IN COLOMBIA

As from March 1, 2021, Decision 833 of November 26, 2018 must be applied in Colombia to obtain a health registration for a Cosmetic product. Main changes are: i) Owner of the registration must be the importer, ii) projected labels can be submitted comprising to send final labels afterwards, iii) composition of the product must come divided (basic, secondary, quantitative-qualitative formulae, iv) generic description of the product must come in the label, v) importer must have a Chemist-pharmacists in its company.
